Conair LLC Announces New President and CEO

Kristie Juster Appointed as New President and CEO, Effective January 2024

Conair LLC announced today that Kristie Juster has been appointed the new President and CEO, effective January 8, 2024. Ron Diamond, President and CEO since 2018, will become Vice Chairman of the company’s Board of Directors.

Ron Diamond Career Milestones at Conair

During his 44 years at Conair, Ron Diamond played a pivotal role in the growth and expansion of the company. Under his leadership, the Conair brand evolved from a modest line of hairdryers and curlers into a global leader in personal care and kitchen appliances. Mr. Diamond was instrumental in the acquisition of key brands, including the transformative purchase of Cuisinart in 1989. Additionally, Mr. Diamond was instrumental in developing and expanding Conair’s manufacturing capabilities in China. As CEO of the company, Mr. Diamond transitioned Conair from being a family-run business to an institutionally-owned company with backing from American Securities LLC.

I often say that I have never worked a day in my life,” said Mr. Diamond. “I have been fortunate to team up with great people doing something I am passionate about. Today we are a thriving family of brands, and it means everything to me that I am able pass along the baton to Kristie at a time when Conair is stronger than ever.”

Kristie Juster: Experience and Leadership

Kristie Juster brings to Conair a wealth of experience in corporate leadership, most recently serving as CEO of Kimball International. Her 22-year career at Newell Rubbermaid, including leadership roles in various divisions, has been marked by significant achievements, including the expansion and elevation of the Calphalon brand and subsequently the Global Writing Division.
