Interlude Home has named former vice president of international sourcing of Ashley Furniture Inds. as its new chief operating officer.
As Interlude’s COO, Brian Adams will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the company as well as piloting the expansion of the business overseas and expanding the partnerships with craftsmen and factories throughout the world. He reports to CEO Carl M. Philips.
Previously, Adams worked at Ashley Furniture as vice president of international sourcing operation, procurement and global quality systems, where he was instrumental in developing a variety of processes to ensure they achieved the best value throughout the supply chain. As part of this strategy, he coordinated the launch of multiple new countries for material and finished good sourcing.
A graduate of the University of Wisconsin – La Crosse and attending law school at the University of Wisconsin, Adams has been named 40 Under 40 in the Home Furnishings Business, was a Gold Award Recipient at Ashley Furniture and volunteers and serves in leadership roles for a number of community non-profits.
